Prof. Renée Tursi, Visiting Fulbright Research Chair in the Person and Society, will be facilitating an open cross-disciplinary discussion about how we are currently talking about artificial intelligence in relation to the human. All faculty and students are welcome. Tursi’s research project is specifically focused on the brain-computer metaphor in relation to “deep learning” applications. An associate professor of English at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, Tursi has designed this conversation to bring together scholars who wish to explore the terms and concepts in play with these topics from multiple perspectives.
