Milieux is hosting an unusual and exciting symposium on cultural mediation within the indie games industry. The public is invited to keynote address, game session and networking event on September 28th at GamePlaySpace/L’espace Ludique, a co-working and event space dedicated to Montreal’s gaming industry.
6:30 p.m. – Doors open
7:00 p.m. – Welcoming comments by Jason Della Rocca of Execution Labs; John Polson of Humble Bundle; and Bart Simon, Felan Parker, and Jen Whitson, coordinators of the Indie Interfaces Symposium.
7:15 p.m. – Keynote address by Kelly Wallick of Indie MEGABOOTH: “Building the IMB and lessons learned in community building”
8:00 p.m. Playtesting games on loan from local indie developers
