Who’s behind the buttons?

Pause Button is dedicated to creating quick, critical articles that can be read on the go. We are interested in creating content that matters to people, and are always looking for new writers and fresh opinions. Pause Button accepts submissions on all topics related to art, design, technology and culture, with a focus on work happening in Milieux and Montreal. Submissions must be original, no longer than 500 words, and they must argue a specific point of view. We love pieces that are relevant, written in response to current or upcoming events, that can stand on their own and create conversation.

We are always accepting submissions. Short pitches or full articles can be sent to our content editor Eileen Holowka, with the subject “Pause Button Pitch.” Authors of accepted articles will be paid for their work.
