Abstract

Concluding the series on MUTEK’s AI Ecologies Lab, this article reflects on the public mini-conference, themed ‘Radical Rituals,’ where participants showcase prototypes developed over three months of exploration and prototyping in collaboration with the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT), Milieux Institute, and Mila.

In this article, Patrick Tanguay demonstrates how the MUTEK AI Ecologies Lab transcends traditional AI discourse by focusing on the development and testing of tangible tools that combine artistic practice with technical experimentation.
