Associate Professor and Textiles & Materiality member Aaron McIntosh is showcasing his new work, Hot House / Maison chaude, at the FOFA Gallery. Running from September 3rd to December 12th, this exhibition draws on fields like queer ecology, science fiction, and ecofeminism. Inspired by 19th-century “hot houses,” McIntosh’s art creates a unique dialogue between diverse queer bodies throughout history and various forms of historic and speculative plant life.
