Call for papers: Thematic Issue in the Journal Captures

Hexagram Network’s Chantier XR/Games is issuing a call for papers and invites anyone who is currently leading—or has previously taken part in—a research-creation project to submit a statement of intent for the proposal of a special issue at journal Captures.

Students are also encouraged to submit a proposal.

Two formats are accepted: a full-length article (5000 words) or a counterpoint piece (500 words).

Calendar:
  • Deadline for notice of intent: August 16, 2026
  • Decision notification: September 18, 2026
  • Dossier proposal to Captures: October 9, 2026
  • Deadline for text submissions: November 29, 2026
  • Publication: scheduled for spring 2027
