
[Exhibition] Arts and Human Rights: Conversing Multiplicities

LePARC invites everyone to the exhibition Arts and Human Rights: Conversing Multiplicities, taking place from May 30-June 8 2023 at Video Performance Studio (VPS).
This exhibition is a reflection on\reaction to\refraction of the Manifesto collectively developed in 2022, and is organized in partnership with the Human Rights Research and Education Centre at University of Ottawa, Emergent Art Space, and Universidad de Sevilla. This will be a multimedia arts and performance exposition, with live and recorded events: academic discussions, artist talks, socially engaged dance and music performances, live-coding and art making. There will be an Opening Night Vernissage on Thursday June 1 at 4:00 – 6:00 PM and a Closing Night Party: Thursday June 8 at 4:00 – 7:00 PM. The opening night will start with a moderated panel discussion with Professors Jabeur Fahally, Omid Milani, Andrea Fitzpatrick and Payam Akhavan.
