April 13 to June 12, 2026
The Interdisciplinary Encounters, Hexagram Network’s biennial event returns from April 13 to June 12, 2026.
Under the theme Commonalities, the 2026 edition will spotlight leading research-creation practices from Quebec’s academic communities. This year, the extended colloquium will feature more than 20 activities exploring the intersection of arts, culture and technology, bringing together researchers, collaborators and students.
This edition, the Interdisciplinary Encounters asks an urgent question: how do we rebuild meaningful connections, to each other, to our communities and to our environments, in the face of contemporary crises? The theme draws on research-creation to respond to intersecting crises of belonging, equity, critical thinking, and ecological imagination.
To develop this extended symposium, Hexagram Network mobilized its core contributors into five working groups referred to as “Chantiers,” each dedicated to a thematic area:

Several Milieux researchers are contributing to these Chantiers and the programming, and a number of activities will be hosted at the Institute.
Stay tuned for more details as the full lineup is revealed.
