Alexey Lazarev is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist. Born in Saint Petersburg (Russia), Alexey has lived and worked in Montreal since 2012. Alexey holds a BFA with distinction from Concordia University and University of Hertfordshire, he is currently completing his MFA in Studio Art at Concordia supported by a fellowship from SSHRC. Recipient of multiple grants from the Canada Council for the Arts (CCA) and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), he completed artist residencies in Japan and Germany and has exhibited his works in Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Russia, United States and Spain.
