This Wednesday, come to the Speculative Life BioLab for a brief introduction to the chemistry, history, and unique process of dyeing with one of safflower’s vibrant pigments: carthamin.
There will be hidden reds! There will be dramatic pH shifts! There will be tales of fermented plums and forbidden colours! Come for the flowers ✿ stay for the secrets
